October is National Fire Prevention Month. During this month our firefighters visit schools and various places within our community. They educate children and the public on proper fire prevention and safety measures. This October is one of our busiest fire prevention months in recent years. We have put on demonstrations at numerous schools within our response district and educated 1300 children on fire safety.
